FAQ: What happens when my horse is at your facility?

USDA CEM mare stallion import quarantine with Dr. William B. Ley DVM MS DACT

We are happy to provide a turn out or exercise program for your horse while it is at Dr. Ley's CEM Quarantine Facility. Limited turn-out in a designated small paddock is available, weather permitting. They may also be hand-walked and grazed as appropriate. We have a blue-stone and sand outdoor arena also available for free-exercise, lunging, or riding as appropriate as well. It must be remembered that whether mare or stallion, your horse is under Quarantine during their stay here. This means that you, your trainer or agent must follow Quarantine guidelines if you visit or attend to your horse while in our care. Any and all tack or grooming aids must remain here in Quarantine while your horse is here, and may not leave the Quarantine area until release of Quarantine.
